    Position Summary/Essential Duties:
    To maintain the nursing staff in all areas as well as to deliver safe efficient age specific nursing care to patient/families


    Essential duties include:
    1. Routinely provide patient care. 2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team. 3. Maintains employee records. 4. Identifies needs for and provides Staff education/staff development. 5. Participates in Discharge planning, community resource referrals and education. 6. Committee involvement, participate with quality improvement initiatives. 7. Oversees daily operations of unit/area in a cost effective manner. 8. Involved in Community outreach activities as pertinent Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients/customers and co-workers. 9. Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment. 10.

    Displays commitment to the mission and values of the organization ANM's are expected to work 50% in staffing and 50% in leadership Lakeside 55 is a 17 bed non-telemetry floor that has a primary focus of gastrointestinal and pulmonary health.

    We care for a variety of complex patients and specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic diseases.


    Qualifications:

    Experience and Knowledge:

    Meets qualification of 1-2 years clinical experience Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills both written and verbal, as well as, exhibiting strong organizational skills and work ethic.


    Special Skills & Equipment Knowledge:
    Demonstrates a professional demeanor when responding to patients/customers. Demonstrated ability to handle high pressure situations with professionalism and integrity.

    Knowledge of current technology and equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies PC and computer applications Education:


    • Associate in Science Degree in Nursing (ADN) required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master in Nursing (MN) from accredited program required within 2 years of hire date.

    Required Credentials, License, and/or Certifications:

    • Registered Nurse with current license to practice in the state of Ohio. Certification in a specialty clinical area or leadership is required within 2 years of hire date BLS Required and ALS & PALS may be required based on area's requirements
