    Job Summary:
    The Payroll Coordinator will process weekly payroll and maintain employee time records. This position reports to the Payroll Services Manager.


    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees' commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, and other information
    • Reviews, edits, approves/signoffs and exports time worked from time keeping system
    • Ensures proper processing of all stipends and expense reimbursements
    • Enters and ensures proper processing of payroll garnishments
    • Verifies that benefits deductions and taxes have been withheld
    • Issues, or reissues, physical or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll issues or final discharge
    • Generates and manages stop payment and repayment agreements
    • Balances and validates payroll totals and identifies any variances
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • At least two years of experience in payroll required
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
    • Experience with payroll software, UKG preferred

    Other:

    • Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and potentially holidays as needed
