- Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees' commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, and other information
- Reviews, edits, approves/signoffs and exports time worked from time keeping system
- Ensures proper processing of all stipends and expense reimbursements
- Enters and ensures proper processing of payroll garnishments
- Verifies that benefits deductions and taxes have been withheld
- Issues, or reissues, physical or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll issues or final discharge
- Generates and manages stop payment and repayment agreements
- Balances and validates payroll totals and identifies any variances
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least two years of experience in payroll required
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Experience with payroll software, UKG preferred
- Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and potentially holidays as needed
