    Description

    What You'll Do:

    This position will serve as a member of a team of Reporting Business Systems Analysts and Reporting Engineers. Our call center provides a variety of drug manufacturer sponsored services to patients and physicians. The Reporting BSA works closely with those managing our customers, operations and report developers to define consistent and reliable reports, and document the related data and business rules. The Reporting BSA also works closely with our data warehouse team to troubleshoot data issues and develop improvements to our data transformations and totally new data loads and transformations for reporting. A successful BSA can understand the business problems of our customers, the data that underlies those processes and the existing framework of reports and the platform itself to design new reports that reconcile with existing reports and maximize the features and functionality already in our reporting solution.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor JIRA on a daily basis for new requests that were assigned by a Sr Analyst or the team manager and respond within two business day with status or questions. Work with SALS and other customers to gather requirements, analyze data and mockup and document new reports in a way that allows for clear customer review and approval and efficient development and testing. Mockups and requirements are usually produced within two weeks of clear details being provided by the customer. Develop SQL for use in requirements definition, testing and adhoc research.
  • Leads small pieces of larger projects with low degrees of complexity and little coordination required between different parts of the organization. Follow SDLC with requirements documentation, support of the development process with JIRA and testing. Provide clear communication about the timeline to stakeholders to set reasonable expectations and ensure that we meet customer commitments.
  • Provide requirements and design support for the data warehouse team as it relates to our reporting needs. Follow SDLC with requirements documentation, support of the development process with JIRA and testing. Be an active partner with SALs, Operations and IT around the definition of new data flows. Help to monitor new data intake processes on a daily or monthly basis as required to ensure the new process is functioning as designed.
  • Monitor JIRA on a daily basis for new Adhoc requests as assigned by Sr Analysts or the team manager. Where appropriate provide reporting adhoc support to internal and external customers by using existing reports, SQL, and Excel. Follow up with requesters to get additional requirements and to provide status to meet team SLA
  • Analysis for existing reports and data to determine whether there are issues with reports, data warehouse or the source systems that are providing the data.
  • Provide testing for any changes to reports, new reports, and system changes that impact reporting and record test results in JIRA.
  • Identifies areas of risk, evaluates controls and makes recommendations for improvements. They use change management, documentation, and version control tools in compliance with our SDLC.
  • Minimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

    Education/Training:

  • 4-year degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent real-world experience
  • 1+ years writing SQL for adhoc research and analysis
  • 2+ years using Excel for adhoc analysis
  • 1+ years working as a reporting analyst doing mockups and designing reports
  • Business Experience:

  • 1+ years working with healthcare or other highly protected data in an enterprise environment
  • 1+ years working with medical reimbursement, patient assistance or hub services
  • 1+ years working with Pharmacy and/or Medical Claims data a plus
  • Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • 1+ years working with CRM data such as Sales Force
  • 2+ years working with some kind of reporting tools

    Our Base Pay Range for this position

    $65,800 - $109,600
