Description
A rural community hospital in northern New Hampshire is adding a General Surgeon to its team-oriented, collaborative, and patient-focused group.
About the opportunity:
The team includes several per diem and locum surgeons
25-bed critical access hospital
Option for a 4-day work week
Call 10 days per month
Meditech EMR
This position offers a broad scope of practice of a typical rural, community surgeon ( providing office-based general surgery services to new and established patients of all ages )
Clinical support is provided by a medical assistant
Annual volume for operative and endoscopy cases combined ranges from 400 to 1,100 cases based on the experience of prior surgeons.
The achievable volume in the first 1-2 years is projected to be 500 to 700Financial Package:
High base salary plus bonuses
7 weeks vacation and CME
Funds for license, DEA, Medical Staff dues, professional memberships
Community/Location:
This community, which has a population of just under 10,000, is located along the Androscoggin River in northern New Hampshire.
2 hours to Manchester Regional Airport. 3 hours from BostonNew Hampshire offers 4 seasons of outdoor activities with its many lakes, rivers, mountains, and forests, as well as a low crime rate, and affordable housing with the 4th largest tax burden in the country.
