    Description

    Job Description:
    The Chief Engineer will be responsible for the general planning and coordinating all the preventive maintenance and repair work.


    MAIN DUTIES:
    Lead, train and develop skills with team members

    Overview the work of team members making sure projects deadlines are met


    Attends morning meetings to inform the rest of the team what is going on with the back of the hotel.


    Responsible to keep the data of all the work, all the records of what work is done by whom and whether that work is profitable for the company or not.


    He has to make sure that all the work that he assigns to various employees is absolutely safe so that no mishap takes place at the work site.

    Strong leadership abilities so that he can assign different projects to different people

    Demonstrate strong organizational skills with attention to detail and impeccable follow through.

    Supports hotel engineering maintenance programs and executes daily, weekly, and monthly checklists

    Responsible for scheduling the team.

    Responsible for all the equipment in the hotel.

    Conduct fire drills and safety meetings

    Supports and Service Operations parts

    Flexible work hours


    REQUIREMENTS:
    Must have hotel experience.


    Must have experience with basic diagnostic devices and training in general-overall mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen, and carpentry knowledge and the ability to trouble shoot in these principals.

    Must be able to communicate clearly with guests and other team members.

    Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

    Constant standing and walking throughout shifts.


    Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and /or up to 25 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.


    The following Certifications are suggested:
    Black Seal

    CPO (Certified Pool Operator)
