    Hospitalist - Pediatrics, Pediatrics

    Responsibilities encompass managing pediatric inpatient care, collaborating with hospital staff, and providing consults as needed.

    The position offers a fixed clinic schedule, balancing inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, with rotating call duties focused primarily on newborn care.

    Your expertise will directly impact patient well-being, making a meaningful difference in the community.


    Required Skills:
    Pediatric board certification or eligibility
    Valid medical license in relevant jurisdiction
    Proven experience in pediatric hospital medicine or related inpatient care
    Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
    Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
    Ability to manage multiple patients efficiently


    Nice to Have Skills:
    Experience with CLIA-waived testing in-office
    Familiarity with pediatric EMR systems
    Bilingual abilities to better serve diverse populations
    Knowledge of local hospital protocols and procedures


    Preferred Education and Experience:
    Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
    Minimum of 3 years postgraduate experience in pediatric hospitalist medicine
    Prior experience working in hospital settings with newborn care focus


    Other Requirements:
    Flexibility to work scheduled hours with occasional overtime and on-call duties
    Documentation of all overtime and callback hours on timesheets
    Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications and licenses
    Willingness to participate in rotating call schedule, including weekends
