Job Summary:

In accordance with the organization's mission, vision and values, the Controller assists the Chief Financial Officer in executing the financial operations of the company.

The Controller will oversee the timely and accurate reporting of all financial transactions including the closing processes and external audits.

The position is responsible for oversight of the daily operations & strategic objectives of the agency's accounts receivable cycle through implementation, maintenance and management of all accounts receivable business functions and procedures for the AR collection process including but not limited to Medicaid, commercial insurance, self-pay, State, Federal and local grants and contracts.

This role provides supervision of daily activities of accounting, billing, accounts payables, and payroll.

Minimum Qualifications:

BA/BS in Finance/Accounting. MBA or CPA strongly preferred. Five years supervisory, financial closing and audit experience required. Five years' experience in supervision of credit/collections staff. Experience supervising medical billing staff in health or behavioral health setting required. Skilled with computerized accounting and accounts receivable software applications a must.
