- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer technology, business, or related field
- Experience with information technology systems, or any equivalent combination of education, training, certifications, and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities required.
- Experience in law enforcement and/or secured facilities is desired.
- Provide coordination expertise for various IT projects from conception through completion.
- Assist in the creation of project plans, develop project scope and objectives, assure that relevant information is captured and analyzed, draft business and system processes, assess risks and track progress.
- Access and communicate needs between the agency IT team, various agency divisions and project partners during project implementation. Translate scope and objectives into tasks and schedules, assign and monitor tasks. Escalate concern as needed.
- Obtain, create, and track vendor quotes, purchase orders and work invoices.
- Coordinate meetings, training, and support. Provide documentation and progress reports for the team.

Summary:
The IT Project Coordinator is an essential member of the IT team and is the liaison between stakeholders to assure project implementation success.
This cross functional role provides expertise to unify the various members of the project team build the road map, meet timelines, and stay within budget.
They will work directly with staff, partners, third party vendors, and enterprise IT personnel.The ability to understand technological discussions and explain technical issues on a non-technical level is essential, as is the ability to work independently, problem solve, provide excellent communications, and follow up.
