    Systems Engineer
    IPRO is an established and growing MSP, VoIP, and Cloud hosting provider.

    We are looking for an experienced person for our MSP division who can think on their feet, take charge, and get a problem solved.

    IPRO's MSP division serves as the "IT Department" for many small to medium businesses nationwide, primarily in the North Texas area.

    We have a small team, but we are growing rapidly. As the IT Department for many companies, you will assist with a variety of challenges and solutions daily.
    As a Systems Engineer you will be a SME, mentor, project manager, and top escalation point, so duties will include but are not limited to:

    • Advanced troubleshooting of Windows Desktops, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, Microsoft 365, Fortinet Firewalls, Aruba, HPE, and Fortinet switches, Aruba and Fortinet WIFI Access Points, VMWare vSphere, VMWare Horizon, AWS, and Azure.
    • Excellent Project Management skills. As an Engineer you will be expected to design, plan, and implement many small to large projects.
    • Mentoring Help Desk technicians and Systems Administrators.
    • Handling escalations when needed.
    • Configuring, deploying, and documenting tools to help lower-level techs become more effective at helping customers.
    • Advanced network troubleshooting
    • Working to engineer, onboard, and install new MSP customers.
    • Helping develop new processes to make the team more efficient.
    • Must be detail oriented.
    • Helping in the discovery of new tools, programs, and services that will help grow the company and your role.
    • On-site customer visits when necessary (long-distance travel may be required), less than 10%
    • Some after-hours maintenance work is expected.
    • Although you will not be On-Call, you may receive calls outside business hours from the on-call technicians needing assistance.

    Experience Required:

    • 5+ years in Systems Administration or Engineering
    • 3+ years Project Management
    • 12+ years in IT support roles
    • 5+ years required experience deploying, troubleshooting, fixing, and maintaining Windows 7-11, Windows Server , Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Enterprise Firewalls, Enterprise Switches, Enterprise WIFI, Enterprise SANs, VPNs, analyzing packet captures, Microsoft 365 administration.
    • Some experience preferred with VMWare vSphere, VMWare Horizon, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, Azure, AWS, Fortinet networking products, thin clients, PFSense firewalls, ConnectWise Automate, ConnectWise Manage, SharePoint, PowerShell, SQL, Veeam, VDI infrastructure, Email migrations, Linux, BSD, macOS, Android, iOS.
    • The expectation will be that you are an SME in at least 2 of these areas: Networking, VDI, VMWare vSphere, Windows Server 2016 – 2022, PowerShell, or Active Directory.
    • Program Management experience is a plus.
    As the MSP division grows the responsibilities and expectations of this role may change to suit business needs.
    *Currently On-Call rotation is by handled by the Help Desk and Systems Administrators, however, Systems Engineers may be contacted to assist when necessary.
    **Note, the Salary range posted is the typical range for a Systems Engineer, however depending on your skill set, availability, and willingness to grow your skills, it may be outside this range.
