you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and expanding market share within the utility pole line hardware sector.

Essential Functions
1.
Market Analysis and Intelligence:
Through in-person visits with industry participants, develop a deep understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape related to composite utility poles and pole line hardware.
2.
Voice of the Customer:
Develop a comprehensive analysis of the customer requirements in different markets and regions throughout North America.
3.
Build Business:
Manage all stages of launching a new product line, including:
Manage all aspects of launching a new line of composite utility poles
Product positioning and requirement to meet market demands
Competitive analysis
Product development and R&D
Testing and qualification
Develop go-to market strategy and sales channels
Pricing strategy
Manufacturing
Sourcing and partnerships with key raw material suppliers
Develop marketing materials for sales organization and trade publications
Drive lobbying activities with key regulatory agencies
Represent Avient with ACMA (Association for Composite Materials) for all activities related to Composite Utility Poles
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
A Bachelor's or University Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or an MBA
Knowledge of the power line distribution and/or transmissions market
Experience in managing product dvelopment from ideation to launch
Additional Qualifications
Must have excellent project management skills
Ability to multitask and prioritze responsibilities
Must be able to train and mentor others
Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
Must demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work independently
Must be able to drive engagement and work across mutliple functions within the organization
Ability to use Microsoft Office Products.
