Job DescriptionImmediate need for experienced Accountant to join leading distributor of parts throughout the Southeastern US. This role will have great work life balance, consistent 40 hour weeks and No Overtime. This role will be groomed to become Accounting Manager in a reasonable timeframe.

THE ROLE
Partnering with the Corporate Controller and collaborating across the organization, the Senior Accountant will provide accurate and timely month-end close, assist in financial reporting, and contribute to the financial integration of target acquisitions. The Senior Accountant will contribute to establishing new processes as well as process improvements for the department. S/He will work closely with the Corporate Controller to build and strengthen the Company's accounting function and make recommendations where necessary.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Financial statement preparation
• Intercompany accounting
• Assist with year-end audit
• M&A accounting
• Maintain Fixed Assets
• Bank Reconciliations
• Concur Expense reimbursement
• Accounting policies and procedures
• Variance analysis of financial and operating reports

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Bachelor's degree in Business (Accounting Concentration)
• CPA or CPA Track
• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• GAAP Audit and Financial Statement experience
• NetSuite and Concur experience a plus
• Advanced Excel
• Excellent oral and written language skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
