• Either Day shift and Night shift available

Job Opening Summary

Under the direction of the department manager and in association with the radiologists, the technologist conducts themselves in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting their colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care. The CT technologist performs services in accordance with an accepted standard of practice and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self and other members of the health care team.

Education:

• Post-high school special training
• Graduate of an accredited school of radiology
• Cross-trained in CAT scan

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• State of Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist General Radiographer qualifications license required (computer tomography qualifications preferred).
• ARRT(R) required.
• ARRT(CT) preferred.
• BLS required.

Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:

• Must be able to read, write in, speak and understand English.
