- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs on IMS Robotics equipment, including troubleshooting, soldering, wiring, mechanical repairs, and component replacement.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and other documentation to understand the electrical and mechanical systems and circuitry of the equipment.
- Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement effective maintenance and repair strategies for the IMS Robotics equipment.
- Utilize computer systems and software to monitor and manage equipment performance, track maintenance activities, and update records.
- Maintain an organized inventory of electrical and mechanical components, tools, and supplies required for equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Schedule and prioritize electrical and mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks, coordinating with customers and minimizing operational disruptions.
- Contact customers with accurate and detailed repair estimates, providing clear explanations of the necessary electrical and mechanical work and associated costs.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular updates to customers regarding the progress of their repairs and ensure effective communication throughout the process.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, repair schedules, and estimated completion times.
- Proactively seek customer feedback and take necessary actions to address any issues or concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members regarding electrical and mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in robotics technology, electrical systems, and mechanical repairs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical and mechanical systems or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Electrical and Mechanical Technician, with a focus on soldering, wiring, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, and performing mechanical repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for equipment monitoring, maintenance tracking, and data entry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
