    St. Ann Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in Dover, NH is a 54-bed facility offering short and long-term care in a warm and supportive atmosphere where residents are cared for according to their individual needs.     We are looking for a
    Full-Time Food Service Director who will be responsible for ensuring that the nutritional services provided to each resident are met and maintained on an individual basis.

    Food Service Director Job Responsibilities;


    • Assume administrative authority, responsibility and accountability of directing the Culinary Services department
    • Determine departmental staffing requirements necessary to meet the needs of the residents
    • Assist in developing diet plans for individual residents and process diet changes and new diets as received from nursing services
    • Meet with dietary personnel, on a regularly scheduled basis, concerning the operation of the department
    • Exercise creativity in developing a menu; bringing an elevated dining experience to our residents
    • Recommend equipment needs of the department and place orders for food, equipment and supplies, as necessary
    • Make periodic rounds to check equipment and to assure that all necessary equipment is available and working properly
    • Participate in inspections made by authorized government agencies; and review and assist in developing a plan of correction for departmental deficiencies if necessary
    Requirements


    • Must be a high school graduate
    • Must have at least two years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a health care setting and have training in cost control, food management, and diet therapy
    • Must be punctual, dependable, and demonstrate compassion and patience
    • Must be able to read, write and speak English and follow oral and written instruction
