This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program.

Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.

This announcement is for the Birmingham VA Medical Center
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works under the direction of a Registered Nurse/Nurse Manager with Patient Care Services (PCS). Responsible and accountable for providing nursing care to individual and groups of patients for an aging, adult population. Incumbent demonstrates good clinical practice skills, problem-solving skills, and decision-making skills. This licensed practical nurse position is clinically and administratively responsible to the Director, Patient Care.
