    2024/2025 School Based Part-time Physical Therapist Near Macon, MS

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct evaluations to assess students' physical abilities and limitations.
    • Develop individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and goals.
    • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the educational program.
    • Remend and assist with the procurement of adaptive equipment or assistive devices as needed.
    • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
    • Provide training and education to school staff and parents on strategies to support students' physical development and safety.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
    • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Mississippi.
    • Experience working with children and adolescents preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • passionate and patient-centered approach to therapy.
    • Ability to adapt therapy interventions to meet the diverse needs of students.
