    SPA's Sea Land Air (SLA) Division supports a diverse portfolio of national security government clients, including the Undersea Enterprise, the Navy Surface Community, the Navy MPTE Enterprise, the Air Force, Army, DoD Agencies, DARPA, international clients including the Canadian Navy and Australian Defence Force
    Our primary objective is to provide timely, objective and analytic assessments that integrate the policy, operational, technical, programmatic and acquisition aspects of our clients' challenges
    Leveraging both in-domain and cross-domain expertise to maximize our clients' success, SLA Division acts as trusted agents to senior decision-makers and key leaders and excels at providing data driven analytic insights, systems engineering, strategies and plans that address current and emerging challenges to national security
    SPA's Air Force and Army Programs Group provides aviation-focused analysis and program management for life-cycle systems engineering and logistics support, rapid capabilities development and fielding, cyber warfare operations, nuclear C3, and integrated air and missile defense planning
    We provide advanced studies, wargame development, and analysis to support materiel operations, supply strategies, and fleet readiness
    SPA has an immediate need for a Budget Analyst to join our team at Hickam AFB, HI
    C Responsibilities You will manage all aspects of budgeting and account keeping for multi-million dollar exercises and operational execution
    Provide services for all PACAF/A37 managed PACAF service funded exercises
    Provide services for all PACAF/A3O managed Dynamic Force Employment (DFE) / Dynamic Campaign (DC) or related operations
    You will be responsible for budget formulation work involving review and preparation of funding requirements in execution and future budget years for PACAF/JCS exercises or PACAF DFE/DC and related operations
    Compile, consolidate, interpret, and summarize budgetary data estimates in an accurate and timely manner IAW HHQ deadlines
    Use automated budgetary system(s) and computer-generated products in accomplishing budgeting assignments
    Analyzes data within the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) accounting systems to ensure accuracy of data elements

    Hawai'i Pay Transparency Range:
    $80 - $100k

    Qualifications Required Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 24 credit hours in accounting and finance or a minimum of two years of directly related experience
    • Be able to liaise with DoD, HHQ, Services, Combatant Commands, Embassies, and other Agencies as necessary
    • Possess effective command of Adobe and Microsoft Office applications
    Working knowledge of the following Air Force budget and accounting systems:


    • Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS)
    • Financial Management Suites - Open Document List (FMSuite - FRC / ODL / DAR-Q /MISC Review / UOA)
    • Commander's Resource Integration System (CRIS)
    • Defense Travel System (DTS)
    • G-Invoicing (G-INV)
    • SECRET Security Clearance
