To provide superior quality competitive value and outstanding service by: Providing acute episodic outpatient assessment diagnosis treatment consultation and education as a Certified Nurse Midwife.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Manages acute episodic outpatient care and health maintenance needs through the provision of a Primary Care Medical Home Labor & Delivery shifts as scheduled Demonstrates competent skills in therapeutic cost-effective pharmacologic administration and management Develops and implements formal and informal teaching plans for patients families staff and community Promotes patient family-informed decision making in treatment plans and options Collaborates with Chief of Woman's Health in development of clinical protocols procedures for delivery of outpatient care Provides care to patients in a safe environment Participates in departmental CQI efforts and provides support for improvement of identified issues Works with clinical manager to ensure collaborative problem solving with staff through participation in identification mediation resolution of issues team problems Promotes staff community enhancement through coordination of inservices to staff physicians partners promote profession organization Attends monthly department staff meetings quarterly medical directors meetings other scheduled meetings Maintains Quality Department Performance measures Value maintains predetermined productivity based on patient volumes Maintains internal customer satisfaction

• Clear active Florida Certified Nurse Midwife licensure
• 3 years experience related clinical experience primary health care environment community health center Federally Qualified Health Center FQHC Must work minimal supervision various outpatient settings motivated self-directed demonstrates initiative Current Basic Life Support BLS CPR certification American Heart Association American Red Cross Proficient Electronic Medical Records EMR Demonstrates strong oral written communication skills Ability speak understand English language effectively communicate patients Extensive knowledge physical assessment differential diagnosis pathophysiology Meets department skill requirements.
