    Description

    Due to Federal Governement Security Clearance Requirements: U.S. Citizenship

    This position is 100% on-site in Washington, DC.

    Must be local to DC, MD, VA Metro Area

    PRISM seeks a highly skilled and experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our business intelligence development team. This mission-critical role will be vital in migrating our on-prem Oracle Enterprise Edition (EE) data warehouse to a Redshift instance in AWS.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work with our AWS Solutions Architect to design and implement a robust and scalable data warehouse solution on AWS.
    • Collaborate with application development teams to ensure that the data warehouse meets the needs of our business users.
    • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using CI/CD tools and IaC tools.
    • Set up and managed the network and security infrastructure for the data warehouse.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot the data warehouse environment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

    Requirements:

    • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
    • 3-5+ years of experience in AWS cloud computing
    • Expertise in data warehousing and Redshift
    • Proficiency in CI/CD and IaC tools
    • Experience with GitOps
    • Strong Linux and Python skills
    • Understanding of DevOps best practices
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
