- Develop thorough and cost-efficient meal plans that include healthy foods.
- Monitor, track, and adjust meal plans.
- Document patient progress and coordinate with providers, as needed.

- Translate nutrition science into understandable, practical eating advice at events and speaking engagements.

- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Foods and Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition, Public Health Nutrition, or a related field.
- 1-year clinical experience
- Successful completion of Registered Dietitian Nutritionist certification
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

Description
Job purposeThe Registered Dietician assists providers in caring for patients by creating nutritional programs based on the health needs of CCI patients. In this position, you will conduct nutrition assessments, provide education on healthy eating habits, and follow up on nutritional progress.
Duties and responsibilities
This position operates in a busy Hematology/Oncology clinic. In this position, you will have direct contact with patients but will not be conducting physical examinations or administering medication.
Physical requirements
This position requires that the employee be able to stand for long periods of time as well as walk for up to two-thirds of the day. This position also requires that the employee drive to other facilities in order to meet with patients. The employee may sit at a computer for up to two-thirds of the day on some days.
