Description

As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will work with children to help them develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and achieving developmental milestones. You will assess each child's needs and develop individualized treatment plans to improve their cognitive, physical, sensory, and motor skills. Your goal will be to help children participate in meaningful activities and reach their full potential. Must have a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate children's abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
  
• Use a variety of techniques to help children improve their motor, sensory, and cognitive skills.
  
• Work with children individually or in groups to achieve therapy goals.
  
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  
• Provide guidance and education to parents and caregivers on how to support their child's development at home.
  
• Maintain detailed records of treatment plans, progress, and outcomes.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of developmental milestones and pediatric conditions.
  
• Experience with sensory integration therapy.
  
• Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment.
  

Working Conditions:

• Pediatric occupational therapists will travel to home or schools to provide services
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  
• State license or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
  
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  
• Current GA OT license
