    Description


    The Business Systems Security Administrator will be responsible for contributing to Companys success by supporting their operational and analytical systems, work directly with the Business Systems Analysts to support Companys application security needs, onboarding, offboarding, and periodic compliance reporting.

    Additionally, the Business Systems Security Administrator will be responsible for Identity Management, Monitoring of Network activity, Intrusion Detection and Reporting.

    The Business Systems Security Administrator will also serve as a security consultant on IT projects recommending best practices while adhering to company security policies.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Security Admin Responsibilities:
    Create and maintain user security profiles.
    Create and maintain security access for new features and enhancements.

    Work directly with business leaders and users to provide least provisioned application security in order for the business to be successful.

    Execute timely terminations of users.
    Document and manage application security processes and procedures.
    Maintain compliance software and data to ensure monthly / quarterly reporting is successful.
    Track and communicate system enhancements and new features.
    Proactively solve for over provisioning security scenarios to reduce financial and business risk.
    Optimize and improve security provisioning to insure the lowest costs for licensing.
    Effectively serve as a backup to supporting Product and Transportation management systems.


    Identity Management:
    Authorize and manage employees' online identities, allowing the right people to access the right information at the right time. Identify policy violations and address potential problems before breaches occur.


    Project Support:
    Serve as a security consultant on IT projects. Recommend best practices and ensure solutions adhere to corporate policies.


    Monitoring:
    Monitor network activity, investigate suspicious actions, update security software, and responding to security incidents

    Intrusion Detection:
    Flag and address suspicious activities. Use network intrusion and host intrusion detection systems.


    Intrusion Reporting:
    Provide weekly intrusion incident updates related to Laptops, Software, Networks, Firewalls, Servers and Databases

    KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
