BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Machine Operator in Indianapolis, IN.

Position Title: Machine Operator

Location:Indianapolis, IN.

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.

Expected Duration: 6+ Months with a possibility of extension.

Job Type: FULL TIME 40 hours a week, CONTRACT, ONSITE

Shift: MON – FRI 8AM to 5PM

Must have skills:

· Machine Operation

· Production Background

· Rubber Production would be great.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

· Use math to calculate square footage, material demand as well as converting between metric/standard inch/msi

· Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.

· Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.

· Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required per the P.M. charts.

· Must be familiar with the basic machine functions to perform the tasks stated above.

· Training in general safety, electrostatic discharge awareness, foreign object damage awareness, and quality system awareness.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Minimum of 2 years of factory or production related experience

· Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

· Unassisted, climb ladders, and be on feet up to entire 8-hour shift.

· Teamwork oriented

· Excellent time management and self-performance management
