NaphCare is hiring an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) like you at the Arizona Department of Corrections - Douglas located in Douglas, Arizona.

Full Time Shifts, Part Time, PRN shifts are available.

PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs for FT shifts and will be determined by site leadership and prn employee availability.

Pay rates range from $65.00-$77.00 per hour, based on employment status, shift, specific facility, site needs, licensure, and experience. Shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs and can be discussed upon interview.

Responsibilities for NP:

• Provide direct and indirect medical care to meet the physiological, psychological and emotional needs of the patients
• Obtain history and perform a physical examination to determine patient health status
• Formulate a working diagnosis, develop and implement treatment plans
• Identify patient health conditions and prescribe treatment based on diagnosis
• Evaluate patients who have returned from off-site treatment
• Admit and discharge patients from all units in the facility
• Conduct rounds
• Schedule and perform laboratory and diagnostic procedures

Qualifications for NP:

• Active, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Arizona
• 1 year of experience highly preferred
