    About Us:


    Granite Hills Group (GHG) is the newly named landscaping company formed in 2021 by the merger of several family-owned landscaping companies based in Charlotte, NC, Raleigh-Durham, NC, and Greenville-Spartanburg, SC.

    This partnership is the platform from which GHG will become the dominant commercial landscape company in the Carolinas while retaining the culture of a family-owned business.

    Each branch has a landscape construction division and maintenance division and as such provides turnkey landscaping services from project groundbreaking through ongoing maintenance.


    Key Responsibilities:


    • Execute a range of landscaping tasks including but not limited to planting trees and shrubs, installing stone, and laying sod.
    • Operate and maintain various 2cycle landscaping equipment such as pole saws, chainsaws, weed eaters, and blowers.
    • Assist with the operation of heavy equipment (e.g., skid steer, ditch witch), experience appreciated but not mandatory.
    • Follow detailed landscape design specifications and plans with precision.
    • Ensure all activities are completed within allocated time frames to meet project deadlines.
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

    Essential Qualifications:


    • Valid driver's license with a clean record for the past 3 years
      This is crucial as the role requires driving as a primary duty alongside general labor tasks.
    • Proven experience in landscape installation or a similar field preferred.
    • Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of 2cycle equipment.
    • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks under varying weather conditions.
    • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
    • Demonstrated reliability and a positive attitude toward work.
