    Cascade Fence and Deck Lumber yard associate

    We are a team of hard-working people with a drive to get things done while also having fun. We've been around since 1997 and have been growing ever since. Our shop is in Vancouver, WA. We're looking for people that are going to find a way, put the team first and can bring some good energy.

    The Lumber yard associate
    We're looking for a full time lumber yard associate to work with our shop team to make our shop operations go as smooth as possible. We're looking for someone quick on their feet, can help solve problems, and just make things happen.

    Our install and project management teams rely heavily on our shop crews to ensure all our internal operations go smooth. This isn't just "an assistant" position, this person is a crucial part of the team that can make a day or night difference.

    The typical hours for this position are M-F 7am – 4-5pm. Must be flexible on end time as sometimes we need to finish up staging projects before days end.


    In this Job, You Will...

  • Assist in staging and organizing material
  • Receive material
  • Keep the material yard cleaned and organized
  • Misc. Shop Duties
  • Operate a forklift
  • Load and unload crew trucks
  • Help package and ship products from our online lumberyard sales
  • Help assist material sales customers in getting their order loaded up

  • You will be working in the elements. (Hot sun, or cold rain)
  • This work is hard. You will lift a lot of heavy materials.
  • You will be operating a forklift everyday.
  • You might be asked to stay late, to "make things happen" for the customers or crews.

    • Compensation

    Our wages are not based on how well you can do the job. It is also based on how well you impact people around you. If you don't know how to make a positive impact on people around you, we will teach you how.

    Starting wage for this role is $20-$25 depending on experience and potential.
