    Must have

    • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer or developer, ideally within the fintech or similar industries.
    • Strong expertise in React/React Native, Postgres, distributed cloud systems such as AWS, MongoDB, and Elastic databases.
    • Solid grasp of software development principles, design patterns, and data structures.
    • Experience with version control systems (e.g., GitHub) and agile development methodologies.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a remote team setting, showcasing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a capability to swiftly understand complex concepts and resolve technical issues.
    • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software on time and managing priorities effectively.
    • Passion for clean energy and sustainability, with a strong interest in using technology to foster positive change.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with the development team to design, create, test, and implement software solutions for our clean energy lending platform.
    • Write effective, reusable, and maintainable code utilizing various technologies employed by our engineering team.
    • Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and ensuring compliance with coding standards and best practices.
    • Identify and rectify software bugs and performance problems, applying suitable solutions and optimizations.
    • Work with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
    • Continuously monitor and enhance the security, scalability, and reliability of the platform.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to refining the development workflow.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, sharing insights and nurturing a culture of learning within the team.

You will work alongside a talented group of engineers and cross-functional teams while reporting directly to our CTO, helping to ensure the smooth operation and ongoing improvement of our systems.
