    IT Operations Supervisor

    A reputable financial company is seeking an IT Operations Supervisor to join their team and oversee the IT department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the IT help desk, maintaining security, and performing network, hardware and software maintenance.

    Qualified candidates will have previous supervisory, help desk, and technical support experience.

    Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

    Pay


    $80,000 to $90,000 a year

    Responsibilities

    • Pursue continual training and/or certification.
    • Perform network, hardware and software maintenance.
    • Recommend upgrades related to company's IT infrastructure.
    • Provide timeframes, cost estimates, and alternatives for system projects.
    • Provide technical guidance, coaching and training to team members.
    • Ensure all internal IT requests are completed in a timely manner.
    • Maintain awareness of changes in technology and the financial industry.
    • Research, analyze, and recommend solutions to operational and security issues.
    • Analyze, plan, budget, design, implement, test, and maintain the IT infrastructure, telecommunications, and audio-visual systems.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.


    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems majors preferred.
    • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
    • Minimum 3 years of technical experience with the ability to configure, maintain and troubleshoot servers and workstations.
    • Minimum 1 year of banking experience preferred.
    • Previous experience developing technical standards and procedures.
    • Previous experience managing a help desk and providing Tier II technical support and higher.
    • Knowledge or work experience with LAN and WAN technologies.
    • Knowledge of banking products, banking regulations-FFIEC, banking operations and systems.
    • Knowlege or certification in Security Plus preferred.
    • Knowlege of experience with the installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of Windows, Cisco and other software.
    • Understand NIST or CIS control concepts.
    • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to work afterhours and during weekends as needed.
    • Ability to pass pre-employment state and federal background check and drug test.
