Radiologic Technologists are responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. They perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and acquire and analyze data needed for diagnosis.
Ensures correct order is obtained, patient is properly identified and prepared for exam,
utilizes appropriate imaging protocol and optimizes technical factors while maximizing patient safety,
Evaluates images for proper positioning and acceptable technical quality,
Demonstrates commitment to department priorities.
