- This role will primarily operate a wheeled loader around the plant to load aggregate products into the various bins for asphalt production.
- May also be required to operate various other pieces of heavy equipment as production needs require, and at the discretion of the plant manager and foreman.
- Duties will also include support and clean-up around the asphalt plant, general maintenance of plant and equipment, and various general labor tasks, as needed.
- Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
- Have at least one year experience operating a mid-to-large wheeled front-end loader - similar to a CAT 980, CAT 988, or Komatsu WA500-8.
- Ability to perform general labor, maintenance, and clean-up duties around the asphalt plant, as required.
- Experience operating various pieces of heavy equipment - such as a track hoe, backhoe, and skid steer - preferred.
- Experience operating working around an asphalt plant - preferred.
- Self-motivated individual - must be able to perform required duties independently, without constant supervision.
- Ability to pick up on new tasks quickly.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
- Pass pre-employment drug screen.
- Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration requirement.
