ABOUT THE ROLE
With Itility's Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE), we provide our clients with public cloud platform support. We manage cloud transformations for our clients and we support their cloud workloads in a complex multi-cloud environment.
You are passionate about cloud technologies, enjoy being hands-on and an excellent troubleshooter. You are eager to learn how to translate customer requests and demands into technical solutions. You are interested in learning new technologies and have a clear focus on results and quality.
Together with your team, you will build high quality solutions. You are agile minded and love to solve challenging problems. You understand that a user story is not finished until it is tested and runs without any problems.

The position of cloud DevOps engineer is a steppingstone for you to positions such as cloud/data solution architect, integration lead or product owner.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will build, deploy, maintain, and optimize infrastructure and application landscapes based on Infrastructure as Code and configuration management principles.

Automation is your default.
You will align with IT architects of different domains on how to use their work to your advantage.
Everything you do is defined in code, tested, and deployed in your CI/CD pipelines which you created and maintain. Everything you do is version-controlled and reviewed via Git.
Cloud providers have a lot of standard solutions. You can design and build infrastructure, platform and software solutions based on Azure, AWS and/or GCP.
You functionally discuss solutions with other engineers and translate requirements into a future-proof architecture.

You are actively involved in the daily stand-up with your CCoE team members and offer or ask for help on certain topics, if needed.

Everything you do is according with platform, IAM best practices
You design cloud-native microservices in Kubernetes, Azure App Services or AWS.
You understand how the platform and its network design adds to the resilience of its applications
You are responsible for the uptime of the CCoE platform.

QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or other technical studies.
2-3 years of experience with microservices architecture (Kubernetes-based such as AKS, EKS, etc.)
2-3 years of experience with Infrastructure-as-code tooling, such as Terraform.

2-3 years of experience with software development on cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform.

Understanding of the software development life cycle, how to deliver quality code, and thoroughly document your work.

WHAT WE OFFER

Salary range:
$85k-$140k

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that Itility reasonably expects to pay for this position.

The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what Itility anticipates paying for this position, based on internal equity, level and budget.
