    Position: We're looking for a Test Automation Lead support a large, 10-year, government contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

    Skillsets / Responsibilities:

    The Test Automation Lead will:

    • Review existing program Test Automation approach and solutions and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Develop a Test Automation Improvement plan and lead execution of the plan.
    • Lead a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle.
    • Apply business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies with quality processes and methodologies.
    • Apply testing methodologies, principles, and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.
    • Provide test automation improvement updates to AFS Leadership, work with Tech Architectures,
    • Product Analysts, and applications SMEs to ensure test strategy fully covers all integration points and handshakes.
    Requirements:
    • 5+ years of leading automated testing in an agile, SDLC environment.
    • 3+ years of using Jira or another bug/requirement tracking system and working with development to resolve issues.

    Requirements:

    • Must be US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Dual Citizen.
    • Must be able to obtain a public trust security clearance.
    • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering / technical discipline and minimum of Eight (8) years of experience. Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.

    Location

    This position at office 1 week per month. VA, DC Area or San Antonio Area.
