Description
ABC Supply, the nation's largest distributor of exterior and interior building products, is seeking a motivated Warehouse Material Handler / Backup CDL Driver to join its team.
In this role, you will receive materials, pull orders for walk-in customers, operate forklifts, load products onto delivery trucks and deliver materials to jobsites as needed.
In this role, you will ensure the safety of each delivery from the moment you leave the facility until you have completed each job.

Maintaining a clean and efficient warehouseResponding to calls from the sales floor in a timely and professional mannerCompleting pick ticket ordersUnloading/receiving all OTR deliveriesPulling and staging orders for each company delivery truckPerforming rotating loading or unloading duties as assigned on a daily basisProviding excellent customer serviceDouble checking all loads for accuracy and ensuring that they are thoroughly secured for deliveryOperating forklifts safely and responsiblyTreating all customers and coworkers in a helpful and professional mannerResponsibilities may include assisting with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites and delivery functions including unloading and staging of product at jobsites as assignedPerforming all duties safelySpecific qualifications include:Valid Class B CDL is requiredSolid organizational skills and attention to detailPrevious warehouse and forklift experience is preferredPre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are requiredAbility to lift pounds consistentlyBuilding material experience is a plusPositive attitude and team playerBenefits may include:Health, dental, and vision coverage - eligible after 60 days, low out of pocket401(k) with generous company match - eligible after 60 days, immediately vestedEmployer paid employee assistance programEmployer paid short term and long term disabilityEmployer paid life insuranceFlex spendingPaid vacationPaid sick daysPaid holidaysEqual Opportunity Employer / Drug Free WorkplaceABC Supply values diversity and we actively encourage women, minorities, and veterans to apply.
