    As we continue to expand, Barakat + Bossa is seeking accomplished attorneys to join our team as Lateral Partners within our Litigation Department.

    This role offers a remarkable opportunity for dynamic and experienced partners to lead teams and enhance our litigation practice.

    The ideal candidates will leverage their expertise in complex litigation to provide strategic counsel and representation to our diverse clientele.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ability to manage a Team within the litigation department and to offer strategic planning and execution.
    • Handle complex litigation cases from inception through resolution, including trial preparation, motion practice, and discovery.
    • Engage in alternative dispute resolution methods to effectively resolve cases.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
    • Drive business development activities to expand the firm's client base and market presence.
    • Mentor and support the professional development of junior attorneys and staff.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to client needs.

    Requirements:

    • Must currently hold a partner title with substantial experience in litigation.
    • Extensive experience in handling complex litigation matters, including trial and alternative dispute resolution.
    • Demonstrated capability to lead and expand the litigation practice.
    • Strong ability to engage in and drive business development and client relationship management.
    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of Florida or capable of obtaining licensure.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
    • Experience working collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
    • Alignment with the firm's values of excellence, innovation, and integrity.
    • Experience in or ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international team environment.
    • While having a book of business is preferred, candidates without a book of business are also encouraged to apply.
