Lead Ruby-On-Rails EngineerRemoteSummarySoftware engineers serve a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining the nextgeneration of products and tools for both external and internal users.

Developers have the chance to work on various teams and stacks.
Successful engineers will be proficient in Ruby or Elixir. We practice test-driven development and believe that it helps us deliver simple solutions focused on real customer needs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Design, develop, and maintain the next generation of products and tools , including APIs, services, and systems acros our engineering teams.

Overarching focus areas can include, mobile API's, backend integration, migration to Elixir, orbuilding a whole new feature for admins.

Software Engineers are expected to test, release and monitor their own code as if we did nothave QA.Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.

Work with engineers across the company to build delightful features that span various parts ofthe system.
Collaborate with our product, business, sales and operations teams to understand and solve ourusers' pain points.
Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes and participate or lead daily stand ups.

Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science or similar8+ years experience building softwarePreferred Ruby Or Elixir programming experienceAre willing to learn (if necessary) and primarily use Ruby on RailsHave demonstrated the ability to own a project from start to finishAre self-starting and technically motivatedAre able to deliver quality, clean code in a timely and scalable mannerAre willing and able to interact with and manage near shore contractorsMake conscious trade-offs between business requirements, urgency, and technicaltrade-offs, understanding that "fast and close to right " is often better than "perfect "
