    Summary:


    Behavior Technicians work independently with children and youth in their homes and community where they will work on meeting the client's identified daily living and behavior goals.

    Goals may include social skills, play skills, communication, independence, behavior reduction, etc.

    You may take a child shopping to learn store skills, take them to the park to work on play, social, and safety skills, work on appropriate meal-time skills in the home, the possibilities are endlessThe In-Home Support Services provides services to clients in La Crosse, Monroe, and Vernon Counties.

    This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team of trained behavior professionals working with local families in your community.

    Part-Time, hourly position that offers a flexible schedule. We will match you with clients whose needs meet your availability.
    Paid learning opportunities and possibilities for advancementWe offer RBT training and fieldwork supervision for those pursing BCBA.


    Must possess:


    Excellent written and verbal communicationTime management skills & reliable work ethicAbility to work independentlyExperience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.

    However we will provide training to the right candidate Must have a reliable vehicle to drive to clients' homes. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record within Chileda's driver requirements.

    Mileage reimbursement is offeredHave a creative, fun, and positive attitudeJob Duties:
    Teach independent living skills, social skills and replacement behaviors.
    Communicate with clients and parents, demonstrating respect, collaboration, compassion, learning and safety.
    Encourage individuality of client by allowing for self-expression and providing opportunities to make choices during sessions.
    Maintaining client confidentiality.


    Education Requirements:
    High School diploma or equivalency
