- Supervise Medical Assistants
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Assist Physician with exams and procedures, administering medications, and performing tests.
- Assist patients with questions about medications and wound care.
- File charts; ensure all related reports, labs and information is available in patients' medical records prior to their appointment
- Take telephone messages; provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls
- Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff to physicians
- Clean and restock examination rooms
- Order medical supplies
- Sterilize instruments
- Ability to supervise staff
- Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
- Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
- The ability to perform phlebotomy
- Candidates must consent to and pass a criminal background check
- Full-time: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Pay range starts at $25/hr
- 4+ years medical assistant experience required; dermatology experience strongly preferred
- Supervising other staff strongly preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent
