    Loblolly, an exclusive private club located in Hobe Sound, FL, is seeking a skilled and reliable maintenance technician who can keep our facilities running smoothly and safely. Do you enjoy working on a variety of tasks, from electrical and plumbing repairs to HVAC and carpentry projects? If so, we want you to join our team

    We are looking for a maintenance technician who can perform routine and preventive maintenance on our buildings and equipment, as well as troubleshoot and fix any issues that arise.

    You will be responsible for:

    · Surveying buildings and repairing mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards

    · Performing maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)

    · Assisting in the preventative maintenance of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conducting repairs when necessary

    · Maintaining plumbing systems to ensure functionality

    · Inspecting alarm systems (fire, protection)

    · Performing manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, paver repairs, carpentry etc.)

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    · Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role

    · Basic understanding of electrical, HVAC and other systems

    · Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods

    · Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices

    · Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills

    · The ability to perform the essential duties of the role and a willingness to work overtime

    · High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus

    Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $ $25.00/hour.

    About Loblolly: Loblolly in Hobe Sound, Florida is a member‐owned yacht and country club and multiple property owners associations. Loblolly has been given the distinguished title of "Platinum Club of America" and consistently ranks within the top 35 residential communities in the country. Located within a gated community, the Club has 315 members, primarily from the northeast and Midwest, and is highly seasonal with members in‐residence from October through May. The Club is situated on the Intracoastal Waterway and is replete with a Yacht Club and deep water marina plus a country club with a top rated golf course designed by Pete and PB Dye.
