    THE COMPANY:

    Our client is seeking a Marketing Specialist based in Los Angeles with a profound passion for the entertainment industry, encompassing film and television production, and technology.

    THE JOB:

    As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth within the media and entertainment segment. Your daily duties will involve collaborating with sales representatives to generate leads and develop targeted campaigns. You will plan and execute various digital marketing activities, including direct email campaigns, SEM, digital advertising, email nurturing, and social media efforts. Your responsibilities also include developing marketing plans based on strategic segmentation, creating compelling content for marketing campaigns, supporting the sales team with necessary tools and content, collaborating with customers to gather testimonials, maintaining database accuracy in Salesforce, and leading the creation and execution of a strategic content plan to expand the company's social media presence. Additionally, you will manage internal and external marketing events and contribute to marketing strategies for business development initiatives and brand collaborations. This role will be heavily focused on support event planning, including logistics, vendor relationships, venue selection, and customer service. This role is HYBRID Monday to Friday with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

    THE QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 3-6 of experience in media and entertainment or technology sectors is required
    • Extensive experience with web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), WordPress, SEO, paid media (e.g., Google Ads), and CRM/marketing automation (preferably Pardot)
    • BA/BS degree or equivalent in marketing or a related field
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Calendar/Docs, and CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)
    • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (preferred)
    • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
    • Professional experience with social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram
    • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and effective follow-through
    • Creative mindset, well-versed in modern marketing campaigns and knowledgeable about influencers in various sectors
    • Familiarity with industry trade publications, awards, and events
    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
    • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
    • MUST reside near Los Angeles, CA
