    Description


    Insight Global is looking for a Team Lead in the Civil Design space to join a fast-growing design firm in the Carolinas.

    This individual will work on multidisciplinary projects within a fast-paced environment.

    They will be responsible for design and coordination of projects ranging from land development to full permitting within the civil design scope of work.



    Responsibilities include:

    • Manage all phases of project development (ininital project feasibility, design development, construction documents & adminsitration
    • Identify, outline, and manage appropriate permitting entitlements and communicate those to the design team and owner
    • Train and mentor junior staff members to meet project demands and client expectations (will be over 4 people)
    • Manage and review all engineering calculations, reports, plans, and cost estimates
    • Work at an advanced level in AutoCAD and Civil 3D

    • Bachelors degree in Civil engineering
    • Active PE (in any state)
    * 10+ years of experience in the site development/civil design field (specifically focused on projects)


    o EX:
    Managing all phases of projects including design development, construction documents, construction administration, training & mentoring junior staff/developing them, managing permit entitlements, reporting/planning/cost estimates


    • Experience with modeling software: AutoCAD and Civil 3D
