Description

Sonoma Tilemakers is a leading wholesale manufacturer and distributor of high-end residential and commercial ceramic tile, stone and glass. Our Shipping & Receiving Department continues to grow.

We are currently in search of a Shipping and Receiving Associate (Stager) to join our team at our facility in Boulder, CO.

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate is someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and enjoys the daily challenges this job brings.

This role is responsible for staging duties that may include:

receipt of materials, preparing and staging items to be shipped, organizing in-coming product, stocking product, picking/pulling product and allocating to orders efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Organizing incoming product from factory to warehouse inventory
• Accurately assembling customer orders from either stock product or custom product
• Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipment
• Complete finished orders and forward to consolidation area, (Ground or Freight)
• Accurately complete all posting to CRM Software as required
• Consistently and accurately completing required paperwork and computer entry for completed orders
• Completing daily work demands in an organized and energetic manner
• Assisting other team members with their work load as time allows
• Operation of a Pallet Jack
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Preferred

• 0-1-year experience
• Basic computer literacy
• Valid Colorado Driver License
• Basic English fluency (Reading, speaking and writing)
• Basic Math skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Consistent Attendance and punctuality are essential and required

Other Physical Requirements

• Vision (Near, Distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth)
• Sense of Sound - Safety requirement for truck and forklift activity
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - eye protection, mask, steel-toed shoes
• Fireman jacket, heat resistant gloves and helmet with heat shield as required.
• Ability to lift 50-60 lbs.

Warehouse environment:

• Inside temperature subject to outside temperature; can range from cold to hot.
• Frequent truck traffic immediately outside the building
• Frequent pallet jack traffic inside the building
• Subject to pallets and carts being moved about the warehouse
