    Welcome to our team! We are currently seeking a skilled Travel IR Tech Allied to join our crew for an exciting Travel allied job based in Torrance, CA.

    This fantastic Travel allied job offers the opportunity to work for 40 hours a week over a 13-week period.

    We are in need of either a CVT Scrub Technologist or an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team.

    Shifts are from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm (10 hrs.) or 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (8 hrs.) and may include on-call duties. Your primary responsibilities will include:

      - Adhere to organizational and departmental policies and procedures
      - Ensure patient care requirements are met according to regulations and policies
    • AREAS OF EMPHASIS
      - Administer oral contrast as needed
      - Prepare patients for examinations and assist Radiologists during procedures
      - Demonstrate proficiency in operating all x-ray equipment
    • DOCUMENTATION/INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
      - Utilize Hospital and Radiology Information Systems efficiently
      - Maintain confidentiality and participate in performance improvement activities
    • DEVELOPMENT
      - Keep work area stocked with necessary supplies
      - Perform duties that contribute to the overall efficiency of the department

    If you're looking for the ideal candidate, here are the non-negotiable requirements:

    • Certifications: BLS, ARRT, (Fluoro and CRT) for IR Technologist, California State license

    It's also desirable to have a CVT license for the role. We're looking for someone who is flexible with their hours and can adapt to our team dynamics.

    Join our team of 17 staff members, including 16 Interventional Radiology Technologists and 1 Imaging assistant. We handle 6-10 patients per day on the 2nd floor and 10 cases per day on the 1st floor using equipment such as Philips Clarity bi-plane unit and Icono Siemens unit.

    Our EMR system is Merge Hemodynamic. When it comes to dress code, we prefer Hospital OR scrubs. If you think you're a fit for our team, we'd love to hear from you!
