Description
Successful, growing professional license defense and criminal defense law firm is seeking an exceptional defense attorney to join our team.
The ideal candidate would have a minimum 4 years of experience, including 2 years of significant experience handling administrative law professional license matters.
The firm staff handles client marketing, intake, screening, and retainer agreements for attorneys. Firm attorneys are laser-focused on providing excellent customer service and solving client challenges.
Chudnovsky Law's professional license defense practice defends licensed professionals and businesses during investigation, accusation, probation, and disciplinary matters involving 44 licensing agencies, such as medical, nursing, pharmacy, dental, DEA, engineer, insurance, real estate, and chiropractic boards.
Investigation defense in front of Dept of Consumer Affairs, DEA, and licensing agencies
Defense of formal Accusations involving licensing agencies, Attorney General Office
Preparing for and arguing hearings in the Office of Administrative Hearings
Defending licensed professionals in criminal courts (So Cal only)
Investigation pre-filing representation with law enforcement.
Prepare for and attend arraignments, readiness conferences, probation revocations, sentencing, etc.
Counsel clients as to their legal defenses, constitutional rights, and strategies for their cases.
Assist clients with emotional aspects of dealing with their case.
Consistently communicate with clients as to the status of their case.
Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and motions.
Conduct client meetings and recommend strategies; communicate with prosecutors, witnesses, and experts.
Pay
$150,000 to $250,000+/yr, based on experience and qualifications
Remote working from home office
Required Qualifications
Min 2 years of professional license defense experience preferred.
Administrative hearing experience.
Former Deputy Attorney General a BIG plus.
Experience in So Cal criminal courts a plus.
CA bar license with no disciplinary record.
2+ years of criminal defense experience, including complex felony cases a plus.
Other Skills

Outstanding command of the courtroom, negotiations, and client meetings.
Excellent legal research skills, persuasive writing skills, and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivation, excellent time management, and interpersonal skills.
