Shift times 7:30am - 4:30pm
Remote/Hybrid/Onsite Hybrid - On-site M - Thursday, work from home on Friday

We are looking for an HR Specialist to join our team and monitor all Human Resources functions.HR Specialist responsibilities include recruitment and onboarding, communicating company policies and protocol, employee engagement, training and maintaining updated employee records. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of key human resources components. Ultimately, you will foster a healthy workplace by ensuring our HR procedures run smoothly at all times
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
? Consistent presence to engage with employees while building business acumen. Partner with the business to understand challenges and opportunities.
? Recruitment and onboarding of employees: creating job requisitions, coordinating offer, pre-employment activities, onboarding and applicable reporting.
? Coordinate all HR related documents for job/employee status changes for employees. Partner with COEs to process job changes, compensation changes, and other HR transactional items.
? Plan, coordinate and facilitate various training programs in compliance with Human Resources and OSHA regulations and standards.
? Maintain proper documentation and assist with employee relations issues and vendor/supplier communication.
? Provide guidance and oversight of absentee control program. Monitor state and federal leave utilization and ensure compliance.
? Conduct new hire orientation and ensure rules, regulations, and CBA/policy information is reviewed and understood.
? Assist with employee recognition programs and community activities.
? Perform other duties as assigned. Technical knowledge/skills:
? Intermediate proficiency in Google Suite
? Familiar with standard HR concepts, practices, and procedures
? Familiar with and proficient in navigation of HRIS and other related systems (Workday, ATS, ADP, eTime, PeopleSoft, ArcPlan, Aspen, or related)
? Familiar with standard Manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures
? Intermediate knowledge of employment law
? Exposure to OSHA reporting, regulations and compliance General knowledge/skills:

? Solid verbal and written communication skills
? Strong time management & prioritization skills
? Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
? Advanced verbal and written communication skills that can be utilized in day to day interactions with all levels of the workforce
Education/Experience:
? A Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred
? 2+ years of demonstrated HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
