Psychology Aid And Technician Position at Fort Carson, Colorado

This is a **Direct Hire Solicitation**. If you are new to Federal service, **salary negotiation** may be available. The role is a **TERM appointment** which can last up to eight years. The job involves:

Performing group and individual counseling for clients with psychological conditions.
Providing crisis stabilization for high-risk patients.
Conducting intake evaluations for inpatient clients.
Developing nursing treatment plans based on various assessments.
Documenting intervention and patient response to treatment.

Requirements:

Specialized experience in evaluating mental health patients and providing counseling.
Background check required due to interaction with children.
Proof of U.S. Citizenship necessary.
Mandatory annual influenza vaccinations.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed.

Qualifications:

US Citizens eligible to apply. Experience can be paid or unpaid, including volunteer work. Education in related fields such as Social Work or Psychology may also qualify.
