    Job Summary



    This position supports PeopleSoft FSCM (General Ledger and Asset Management), Procure to Pay (Accounts Payable, Purchasing) and Research Administration (Accounts Receivables, Billing, Project Costing, Grants, Contract) modules. Sr. Financial Application Developer/Analyst will have responsibility for complex system enhancement requests as well as ongoing technical support of the PeopleSoft FSCM Applications and integrations with various 3rd party systems.

    • Possess in-depth understanding of Financial ERP including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Grants, Contracts, Project Costing, Asset Management.
    • Implement and maintain web service encryption/decryption security framework using SSL/MSG certificates.
    • Develop and automate UCSF Financial Systems integrations with 3rd party systems using REST based API, JSON, XML, SOAP.
    • Build integration design patterns from flat files to Web Services.
    • Application Design and development using java like MVC coding patterns.
    • Automate UCSF Asset Management EIMR with online form submission and workflow approval, from paper based system.
    • Fluid design and development for Branding, Homepages, Dashboards, Navigation Collections, WorkCenter, Related Content etc.
    • Experience with the following technologies - JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Branding, iScript, Application Packages.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related area
    • 12+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft development experience and expert knowledge in the following areas; PeopleCode, PeopleTools , Workflow, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker
    • 12+ years of highly advanced skills associated with PeopleSoft Financial Technical specification, design, modification, implementation, upgrade and deployment of large-scale scope.
    • Expert Knowledge of most of the PeopleSoft reporting tools (PS Query, Tree Manager, PS/nVision, Crystal Reports, SQR, BI Publisher)
    • Recent hands-on advanced experience in areas of Fluid, Work Center, Security and integrations between PeopleSoft FSCM modules, PeopleSoft HCM and with multiple 3rd party systems (i.e. Jagger, Concur).
    • In-depth Knowledge of Infrastructure & configuration of Application Server, Web Server, and Process Scheduler as related to PeopleSoft
    • Working Knowledge of Oracle Database (12c), AIX/Linux/Window Operating Systems
    • Advanced Techno Functional knowledge of PeopleSoft FSCM modules, specifically General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Asset Management, Purchasing, Billing, and Receivables. Project Costing, Contract and Grants experience will be highly desired, but not required
    • Ability to estimate the level of effort, effective triaging of issues, and timely resolutions of all assignments while juggling priorities
    • Advanced experience with the identification and use of code libraries and open-source forums.
    • Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
    • Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a team. Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines.
    • Demonstrated complex problem-solving skills and highly honed analytical skills


    Preferred Qualifications

    • Excellent project leadership and management skills.
    • Master's degree in Information Technology or related area
    • PeopleSoft Tools Certification
