    About the Role

    Bar Harbor Bank & Trust is seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our Claremont branch team.

    This role is critical to our success as the first point of contact for our customers, and we're looking for someone who can build trusted relationships and support customers with their day-to-day financial needs.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Assist customers in identifying their financial needs and contribute toward the success of the company by recommending additional products and services.
    2. Recognize and seize opportunities to make referrals for loans, trusts, investments, insurance, and other exceptional services offered by the bank.
    3. Gain an understanding of the banking industry and begin to contribute toward meeting branch goals in a variety of categories, including deposits and loans.
    4. Build trusting relationships with individuals in the communities we serve.
    5. Be an active participant in, and advocate for, community growth and prosperity.
    6. Process transactions for customers in a prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
    7. Provide exceptional customer service, reach effective resolutions, and follow through with customers for all inquiries.
