Job Overview CCF Identifies the pathophysiology of cardiovascular disease and uses this information to plan appropriate nursing care. Identifies the physiologic changes induced by cardiothoracic surgery and uses this information to plan appropriate nursing care. Performs a comprehensive cardiovascular assessment. Develops and institutes a teaching plan for the patient, and the family, suffering cardiovascular disease. Responds to Code 99 alerts in accordance with established policies and procedures. Provides cardiac teaching at the professional and community level. Nursing Interventions initiation of lidocaine protocol initiation of atropine protocol defibrillation care of the patient following coronaryangioplasty Equipment Utilization mechanical ventilator intra-aortic balloon pump pacemaker cardiorespiratory monitor Requirements BSN preferred 1 year of tele experience PA RN licensure
