As Director of Revenue Strategy, you'll apply your knowledge of best-in-class revenue organizations to act as the owner of our go-to-market strategy. This role is pivotal in translating our strategic growth and profitability goals into an actionable plan that supports our Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing organizations, and partnering cross-functionally to ensure their successful execution. A strategic mindset, strong experience in sales strategy/sales planning, and excellent communication are pivotal to this role.

This position reports to our Sr. Director, Corporate Strategy & Operations with direct communication to our executives and senior leaders across the organization. The position can be based in a remote U.S. location. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.

    What you'll do:

    • Strategy, Analysis, and Planning: Partner with Corporate Strategy, Marketing Strategy, and Product Strategy to evaluate upcoming opportunities for growth across the organization. Own the final perspective and recommendation to our Chief Revenue Officer and VP, Corporate Strategy & Operations on where we should plan to grow in the next 12-24 months, why, and how we will achieve it.
    • Operational Excellence: Be the expert on our GTM organization and its strengths and areas for improvement, including but not limited to: productivity, staffing ratios, headcount/hiring/performance management, organizational alignment, division of roles & responsibilities, quota setting & capacity, and expense management. Develop a perspective on how to mature our GTM organization in the next 1, 2, and 3 years (including external benchmarking) and own execution against this plan.
    • Revenue Operations Collaboration: Work with Revenue Planning, Revenue Insights, and Field Operations to execute our annual plan and react to changes throughout the year. Partner with Revenue Planning to ensure that our strategy is appropriately reflected in the financial models that support our Revenue organization. Partner with Revenue Insights & Field Operations to capture learnings, developments, and feedback from our data and/or the field and feed those insights back into our strategy.
    • Trusted Advisor to Sales Leadership: Act as a trusted partner to Sales leadership, providing operational and/or financial insights and recommendations to drive business growth, operational efficiency, and profitability.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Sales Comp, and Operations to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of financial strategies and objectives with our revenue strategy. Partner with Sales Comp on the design of sales compensation plans and incentive programs and regularly evaluate market trends and outcomes to support sales effectiveness.

    What we're looking for:

    • Experience of 7-10 years in Revenue Strategy, Revenue Planning, Sales Strategy, Corporate Strategy (with heavy GTM experience), or a related field.
    • Proven experience in sales planning or sales strategy, preferably in a high-growth technology or software-as-a-service (SaaS) environment. Knowledge of sales compensation/incentives, sales finance, revenue forecasting, and/or pricing strategies is a plus.
    • Proficiency in CRM systems, basic financial modeling, and data analysis (preferably Tableau).
    • Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear and actionable insights for business leaders.
    • Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and the ability to think holistically about sales and financial objectives.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills. Comfort with ambiguity and proactivity is a must.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Bachelor's or Master's in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
