    We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team of professionals to provide exceptional quality, compassionate healthcare in a progressive and integrated healthcare environment.

    In this role, you will perform selected patient treatments to help reduce pain and improve mobility under the general supervision of the Supervising and/or Staff Physical Therapist, Supervisor, Director, or designee.

    You will also prepare patients and equipment for treatment; document patient treatments and communicates with therapist(s) regarding patient(s).


    Come join the largest rehabilitation and sports medicine team in the Western Upper Peninsula and assist in providing evidence-based care.


    Required Skills:
    Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

    Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

    Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.


    Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.


    Position Requirements:
    Associates degree required

    Graduate of a program in discipline required

    State of Michigan PTA licensure required

    Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (available upon hire)

    Annual influenza vaccination or declination required


    Position Details:
    0.6 FTE (part-time, 24 hours per week)

    Day shift

    Weekends and Holiday rotation

    Provides primarily outpatient care
